We arrived in San Blas!

Well after 128 miles and 26 hours of the open sea we arrived in San Blas harbor.  We had a great motor down, unfortunately we did not have enough wind to sail much of the way, but it was a great trip.  There were a few high sea swells that rocked us once in a while, but for the most part it was a smooth ride.  As always we fished the whole way, but no bites, we did see some other animals.  We had some dolphins swimming along with us for 30 minutes or so, which is always fun to watch, Skeeter gets so excited he really wants to jump in and play with them.

Yeah, we finally saw some whales, I could not get really any photos because they were pretty far away.  We saw a couple of orcas and what I think were a few humpbacks a throughout the trip.

During Jerry's night watch he saw a few that would jump out of the water, but with the bio-luminescence, they looked like torpedo's shooting towards the boat. We also had a few hitchhikers tag along with us for a while.

When turing into the San Blas estuary there is a sand bar that runs along the mouth of the opening, so you have to be very cautous when entering.  We got across safe and sound thanks to the SV Hotspur, who were in front of us and lead the way, we also had some great way points that SV Third Day gave us to follow.  We got a slip for three days while we are here in San Blas so we could get the boat washed and some boat projects done.  It is said that the Jejenes ( tiny no see-um bugs) are really bothersome here, so we need to finish our bug screen for our companion way.
even in Mexico they take pride in their food presentation....So pretty!
