Bahia Ballena!!

We pulled up anchor in Bahia Potrero around 12pm to head 101 miles towards Bahia Ballena which took us about 20 hours.  We did hit a couple of little squalls of rain an a little lightening but nothing to bad.  We pulled into Bahia Ballena with 15 knot winds and some hard rain around 9:30am on Monday May 30th.  This was a large protected bay with a fisherman's pier and some concrete stairs that you can tie your dinghy up to.  Some said that if you put out a dinghy stern anchor it will help from having the dingy hit the concrete, but we just made sure that we did not tie up during an incoming tide.
Anchorage

This is empty now, except for Saturdays when they have produce

The small little village
Jerry tying the dinghy up to the concrete pier
SV Windfall, SV Sunny Side Up and SV SOMF took a dinghy tour of an esturary.  The river went off in many different finger and was a great place to spot wildlife.
